Rotates the pages of a PDF by 90 degrees left or right, or a full 180, and saves the result as a new file — with a live preview so you can see the orientation is right before downloading. Scans taken sideways or upside down are the usual patients. Processing happens in your browser; the file is never uploaded.

How to use

1. Pick or drop the PDF. The first page appears in the preview.
2. Choose the angle: right 90°, left 90°, or 180°.
3. Check the preview — when a page turns 90 degrees its width and height swap, and the preview rescales so nothing is cut off.
4. Apply and download the rotated PDF.

Saved rotation versus viewer rotation

The rotate button in a PDF reader usually changes only how the page is displayed in that session — close the file and it opens sideways again, and it prints sideways too. This tool writes the rotation into the file itself, so the page opens correctly everywhere afterwards. Rotation is lossless: the page content is not re-rendered, only its orientation flag changes, so text stays sharp and selectable. If different pages need different directions, run the file through more than once, or rotate everything to the majority direction first and fix the stragglers after.

Does Rotate PDF preserve the original quality and text?

Yes. Pages are copied as they are, so vector text stays selectable and searchable rather than being flattened into an image. Only tools that explicitly re-encode images will change the visual data.

Can Rotate PDF open a password-protected PDF?

An encrypted PDF has to be unlocked before it can be processed. Open it in your PDF reader, save an unprotected copy, and then run that copy through the tool.
